The FANUC M-950iA/500 with R-30iB Plus controller is an ultra heavy-payload 6-axis industrial robot designed for handling large and demanding applications requiring exceptional rigidity, high payload capacity, and extended working range. With a maximum payload of 500 kg and a reach of 2830 mm, the robot is ideal for automotive body handling, EV battery manipulation, heavy material transport, friction stir welding, drilling, riveting, palletizing, and large-part assembly operations.
The robot uses a unique serial-link structure, allowing the J3 arm to rotate backward and operate above the robot structure, significantly increasing flexibility in compact production cells and complex industrial layouts. Its reinforced wrist and high-rigidity design ensure excellent accuracy and consistent performance even under extreme loads.
Combined with the FANUC R-30iB Plus controller, the system offers advanced processing performance, intelligent diagnostics, precise motion control, and compatibility with FANUC smart manufacturing technologies including iRVision, ROBOGUIDE, and Dual Check Safety (DCS).
